Watch Final Destination 5 Streaming - New Cast Member!

There's a new kid in town for Final Destination 5 and his name is Miles Fisher.

You may know Fisher from Superhero Movie, or maybe even for his turns on Gossip Girl and Mad Men.

Final Destination 5 is set to start shooting in the fall of 2010 in Vancouver and you can bet that everyone involved is looking to make this movie as good as possible, because once you get to the 5th movie in a series you're treading on soft ground.

I believe that they are going to be able to make a movie with surprises and scares. And at least once everyone that watches the movie is going to have a little jump.

Final Destination 5 - Opening Scene!

If there's one thing that the Final Destination movies have done well it's kill people. And it doesn't look like that is going to stop with Final Destination 5.

The rumor that we mentioned in our very first post about the bridge death looks like it is true. And the new details say that the poor teen that dies at the start of the flick will be flattened by the bridge.

There is no word as to how the bridge is going to come down or if more than one person will bite the dust. But I am willing to bet that it will be fantastic.

Final Destination 5 - Buzz!

There's a lot of buzz in the film community over the choice of Steven Quale as the director of Final Destination 5.

Quale is a master and pseudo-legend in the world of special effects and 3D production having worked with James Cameron on Terminator 2, Titanic and most recently Avatar. And now he is bringing those talents to the directors chair of the 5th installment of the Final Destination franchise.

Add in the draw of a pretty popular star in Jensen Ackles and Final Destination 5 really does show the potential to be a good movie with stunning effects and 3D presentation.

Final Destination 5 is scheduled for release August 26, 2011.

Final Destination 5 - Death Is Back!

Death just won’t give up!

Final Destination 5 is set to start filming in September 2010 in Vancouver.

Because The Final Destination made way more money than New Line expected they decided to go to the well one more time.

Final Destination 5 is going to be filmed in 3D and will be directed by Steven Quale.

The rumored cast includes Jensen Ackles (Batman: Under The Red Hood, TV’s Supernatural), Matt Barr (The House Bunny, Ten Inch Hero) and Donol Logue (Max Payne, Zodiac).

It has also been reported that the opening scene of the flick will take place on a suspension bridge. My guess is that someone dies in the first 3 and a half minutes.

Final Destination 5 has a release date set for August 26, 2011.
